Celebrating 40 Years with Air New Zealand

As we get to the end of 2019, Esplanade celebrates 40 years of working with Air New Zealand! Our first trip down was in 1979 when we researched an itinerary to interest our clients.

That first trip was tough. While the airline was superb, there were not many interesting places to stay as the country was still growing their tourism industry. The scenery was beautiful (still is!) but the accommodation was fairly limited to mostly motels.

How things have changed! Air New Zealand is even more superb and has more gateways than ever. The properties we can send you to rival any of the best in the world. Our favorite accommodations are the unique luxury lodges, which combine postcard scenery with exceptional amenities and Kiwi hospitality. New Zealand is truly a country not to be missed, and with one of the best airlines in the world to take you there – it is a natural fit!

Esplanade arranged a wonderful New Zealand adventure for my wife and myself in 2020…just a couple of months prior to Covid shutting down the world!
