Day 1 USA/Cairo
Take an overnight flight to Cairo, connecting through an airport in Europe.
Day 2 CAIRO
Meeting and assistance at the Cairo airport upon arrival in the late afternoon. Transfer to your hotel for three nights with breakfast.
Day 3 CAIRO
This morning, you will be taken on a full-day tour of Cairo. Explore the riches of the Egyptian Museum in the morning. After lunch, visit the Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. B
Day 4 CAIRO
After breakfast, start your full-day tour of the best sites near Cairo. Drive through the picturesque rural area to Memphis, the capital of the Old Kingdom. Proceed to the Step Pyramid and the Tombs of Sakkara. In the afternoon, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and the Solar Boat Museum. B
Day 5 CAIRO / LUXOR
In the morning, transfer after breakfast to the airport for a flight to Luxor. Meeting and transfer from airport to the boat for your 7-night cruise. Embark in time for lunch. BLD
Day 6 LUXOR / ESNA
Morning sightseeing on the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens, Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Sail to Esna. BLD
Day 7 ESNA / EDFU
Visit Temple of Esna. Sail to Edfu and visit the beautifully preserved Temple of Horus. Sail to Kom Ombo. BLD
Day 8 KOM OMBO / ASWAN
Sail to Aswan. Visit the Aswan High Dam, unfinished Obelisque, and the Temple of Philae. BLD
Day 9 ASWAN / ABU SIMBEL
Visit the Botanical Gardens by felucca. Optional this afternoon: Abu Simbel excursion by air to see the two reassembled temples salvaged from submersion in Lake Nasser. BLD
Day 10 ASWAN / KOM OMBO
Early sail to Kom Ombo. Visit Kom Ombo Temple. Sail to Edfu. BLD
Day 11 EDFU / LUXOR
Continue to Luxor. Tour the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples on the East Bank. BLD
Day 12 LUXOR / CAIRO
Check out after breakfast, and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. Arrival transfer in Cairo to the hotel at Giza for 2 nights. B
Day 13 CAIRO
This morning, take half-day tour of Old and Coptic Cairo. Visit the Coptic Museum housing early Christian Artifacts; the Hanging Church dating back to the 4th century, Old Cairo churches and Jewish Synagogue. Rest of the day free to relax on the beautiful grounds of your hotel. Tonight, enjoy the famous Sound and Light Performance at the Pyramids. B

Departure transfer to the airport for your flight back home early in the morning. B
