Arrive El Calafate airport on the shores of Lago Argentino, one of the most scenic areas in Argentina. Transfer to your hotel. The great Andes range creeps gradually closer as it approaches the Magellan Straits – Patagonia becomes a spectacle of towering mountains, foaming rivers, growing glaciers and gentle creeks. Day 2: El Calafate
Visit the Perito Moreno Glacier on the southern arm of Lago Argentino, which towers 240 feet above sea level. This is the world’s largest active glacier! Continue by boat cruising amongst the icebergs on Lago Argentino. Dinner at the hotel. (B) (L) (D)
Day 3: Depart El Calafate
Transfer to the El Calafate or Rio Gallegos airport for your departure flight. (B)
