Peninsula Valdes

Arrive Trelew. Meeting and transfer to the Puerto Madryn region for dinner and overnight. (D)

Full-day excursion to Peninsula Valdes; pass the Amegihino Isthmus to visit the Caleta Valdes sea elephant habitat. Continue to Punta Delgado to see a colony of large sea elephants and Puerto Piramides with its extraordinary sea lion colony. Lunch is included today. From August through November, you can also go on a whale-watching boat excursion. (B) (L)

Today, drive further south to Punta Tombo (available only Sep 15 – Apr 30) to view thousands of Magellic penguins that migrate here from Antarctica. Afterwards, continue to the airport. (B)
