Bonito
Bonito is located south of the Pantanal region in Brazil and has become a hotspot for ecotourism. A network of clear water springs, caves, rivers and waterfalls has created a unique and lush environment above and underwater. Due to the abundance of dissolved minerals, visibility on some springs can exceed 150 feet.
In Portuguese, the word Bonito means beautiful…too modest to describe the beauty of this exotic place. Popular activities include snorkeling and swimming down these clear rivers accompanied by a big variety of fish (like Dourado, for example) and surrounded by amazing sub-aquatic vegetation.
