Arrive at Queen Alia Airport where you will be met and assisted, then transferred to the Grand Hotel Amman for 2 nights with full breakfast daily.
Day 2: Amman
This morning visit the Dead Sea for a swim and relax at the Dead Sea Spa Hotel. Continue to Bethany on the Jordan River to see where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Return to Amman for overnight.
Day 3: Amman – Petra
Leave after breakfast and drive south to Nebo where Moses was able to gaze upon the Promised Land. Continue to Madaba to visit the Byzantine church containing the beautiful mosaic. On to the Crusader castles – Kerak and Shoubak – before arriving at Petra for 2 nights at the Movenpick Petra with breakfast daily.
Day 4: Petra
Full day visit to Petra with your local expert guide. Walk through the Siq to the famous Treasury past the Theatre and Street of Facades containing tombs of prominent Nabateans. Climb the winding stone steps to the Monastery on the top of the mountain. Enjoy a horse ride on the way back to your hotel.
Day 5: Petra – Wadi Rum
In the morning drive south to Wadi Rum for jeep ride into the land of Lawrence of Arabia. In the afternoon take a camel into the desert or relax at the camp. Spend the night at the Jabal Rum camp with dinner and a display of local music and dance.
Day 6: Wadi Rum - Aqaba
After breakfast continue south to Aqaba for 2 nights at the Movenpick Aqaba Hotel with breakfast daily.
Day 7: Aqaba
Full day to relax in this Red Sea city. Take a glass bottom boat to the reefs, snorkel or relax on the beach.
Day 8: Aqaba – Amman
Return to Amman airport via the Desert Highway for your return flight.
