Jordan and the Holy Land

 

Arrive at Queen Alia Airport where you will be met and assisted, then transferred to the Grand Hotel Amman for 2 nights with full breakfast daily.

This morning visit the Dead Sea for a swim and relax at the Dead Sea Spa Hotel. Continue to Bethany on the Jordan River to see where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Return to Amman for overnight.

Transfer to the Allenby Borders (King Hussein Bridge) to cross over to the Holy Land. You will be met and driven to Jericho for a visit, including the Zacheus Tree. Continue to Jerusalem for 2 nights at the Regency Jerusalem with breakfast daily.

After breakfast begin your tour of Jerusalem at the Mt. of Olives with views over the Old City and the Temple Mount. Visit Gethsemane, where Jesus spent the night before his arrest. Walk to the Western Wall and continue across the Muslim Quarter to the Via Dolorosa. Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, cross the Armenian and Jewish Quarters to Mount Zion for a visit of the Last Supper Room and Dormition Abbey.

Drive to Bethlehem today to the visit the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square. Continue to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation, Joseph’s Workshop and Mary’s Well. Spend the night at the Nazareth Plaza with breakfast.

After breakfast transfer to the Hussein Border for the return journey into Jordan. Visit Jerash, one of the largest and finest ancient Roman cities outside Italy, before returning to Amman and the Grand Hyatt Amman Hotel.
