Sample itinerary:
Day 1 - Istanbul
Upon arrival Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport you will be met and taken to your Hotel.
Balance of day to relax.
Spend 3 nights including breakfast daily
Day 2 - Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a full day tour. Visit the Blue Mosque, the Saint Sophia Museum, the Topkapi Palace Museum and the famous bazaars. Lunch will be provided today and dinner is on your own.
Day 3 - Istanbul
After breakfast, a further tour of the city, including a cruise on the Bosphorus by ferry. Disembark at Saiyer at the entrance to the Black Sea. Lunch will be served, and in the afternoon visit the Asiatic side of Istanbul including the Beylerbeyl Palace and Campica Hill with a panoramic view of the city.
Day 4 - Istanbul – Ankara – Cappadocia
You will be transferred back to Istanbul airport after breakfast for the flight to Ankara.
You will be met and taken into the city.
Visit the Anatolian Civilizations Museum and the Haci Bayram Mosque. After lunch, drive to Cappadocia and check into your hotel. Spend 2 nights with breakfast and dinner daily.
Day 5 - Cappadocia
After breakfast, a full tour of the region. Visit the Goreme Open Air Museum with the rock carved churches, then visit the Citadel of Uehsair for a panoramic view of the region. Lunch will be served and in the afternoon visit the villages of Avanos and Zelve.
Day 6 - Cappadocia - Izmir
Breakfast, then visit the Underground City of Derinkuyu or Kaymakli. Continue to Ankara by road, then after lunch fly to Izmir. You will be met and transferred to your Hotel for 2 nights including daily breakfast.
Day 7 - Izmir
After breakfast a full day to Ephesus – one of the greatest sites in the world! Visit the ruins of the antique city, the Basilica of Saint John, the House of the Virgin May and the Museum. Also visit the Brothel! Lunch will be included.
Day 8 - Izmir – Istanbul
You will be taken to the airport after breakfast for the flight back to Istanbul and onward travels.
