Purchase Within 14 Days of Your Initial Trip Deposit for Pre-Existing Condition Waiver:
The Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion will be waived if the protection plan is purchased within 14 days of the initial trip deposit, you purchase this policy for the full non-refundable cost of your trip, you are not disabled from travel at the time you pay the plan cost and this is the first and only booking for this same destination and dates of travel.
Cancellation Protection
You may cancel the Protection Plan by giving us written notice within either fourteen (14) days from the date of issuance of your Protection Plan, or your Scheduled Departure Date, whichever occurs first, provided you have not submitted a claim. If you do this, Travel Insured International, Inc. will refund your plan cost in full (less the $8.00 administration fee). If past fourteen days, your plan cost is non-refundable.

Trip Cancellation - Up to Trip CostProtect your travel investment if you cancel your trip due to a listed reason. Listed reasons include but are not limited to: Sickness, injury, death of you, a traveling companion, family member or business partner, your place of residence made uninhabitable by fire,flood or other natural disaster, traffic accident while en route to the airport for departure, employer termination, or natural disaster at the site of your destination.

Trip Interruption - Up to 150% of Trip CostProtect your travel investment if you interrupt your trip due to a listed reason.

Missed Connection - $750Reimburse you for additional transportation if you miss your connection.

Trip Delay - $750 ($200 per day/6 hours)Reimburse you for additional accommodations or travel expenses if your delayed.
Baggage Protection

Baggage & Personal Effects - $1,500Safeguard your luggage if it is lost, stolen or damaged while on your trip.

Baggage Delay - $300 (12 hours)Reimburse you for the purchase or essential items if your baggage is delayed for more than 12 hours.
Medical Protection

Emergency Accident and Sickness Medical Expense - $50,000 ($50 deductible)Covers you for medical expenses incurred during your trip as a result of an accidental Injury which occurs or sickness which first manifests itself during the trip.

Emergency Evacuation and Repatriation of Remains - $500,000Provides for evacuation and transportation to the nearest adequate medical facility, and/or to your return destination or hospital of choice if medically necessary.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment - $25,000You are eligible for benefits, up to the benefit amount shown when you sustain Injuries resulting in any of the listed Types of Loss, while on a trip.
Optional Protection Upgrades
1. Cancel for Any Reason - Multiply base cost by 1.5 per person
Cancel your trip up to 48 hours before departure and receive up to 75% reimbursement of your non-refundable trip cost.
Must be purchased within 14 days of your trip deposit, and is not available to residents of New York or Washington State
2. Cancel for Work Reasons - $24 per adult
Provides Trip Cancellation and Interruption coverage for business-related reasons.
Must be purchased within 14 days of your trip deposit, and is not available to residents of New York or Washington State
3. Sports Coverage - $25 per person (For a total of $1,000 per person)
Covers prepaid, non-refundable ski passes, ski or equipment rentals, or green fees. Protects with equipment rental reimbursement if your own equipment is delayed or misdirected by Common Carrier.
4. Additional Medical Protection - $25 per person
5. Optional Collision Damage Waiver - $7 per day (For a total of $50,000 coverage)
Covers you if you rent a car while on a covered trip and, and the car is damaged due to a listed reason. Listed reasons include collision, theft, vandalism, windstorm, fire, hail, or any cause not within your control while you are in possession of the vehicle.
6. Optional Flight Accident Protection (air only)- Quotes and coverage details available upon request
Covers you for injuries sustained while riding as a passenger in or on, boarding or alighting from an aircraft, or being struck or run down by an aircraft. Conditions, limitations and exclusions apply.
