TOUR OF THE MONTH â?? MAYAN JUNGLE AND TIKAL RIDE IN BELIZE
$1,780 through April, $1,745 from May to December. Prices based on double occupancy.
This tour is offered during select dates, year round, except in September and October. It is perfect for a novice rider, but still offers the opportunity to canter for the more experienced rider. You will spend the week exploring Mayan ruins, taking hikes in the mountains, bird watching, and swimming beneath waterfalls.

ITINERARY
Day One: Transportation will be provided from Belize City to your accommodations for the week. Arrive a few days earlier, stay at one of the local hotels and experience the famous hospitality of the locals.
Day Two: There is a morning orientation to familiarize yourself with the horses and tack. In the afternoon take a short ride up into the mountains where you can enjoy hiking and swimming. There is an optional canter for those riders with the experience.
Day Three: Spend the day exploring the river caves of Barton Creek.
Day Four: Take a ride through the countryside of Belize, visiting Mayan ruins along the way. After lunch enjoy a vehicle tour of Cahal Pech, a Mayan ceremonial site, and shopping after dinner.
Day Five: Explore Swallow Cave, have a picnic lunch, do some more swimming, and have a canter if you feel up to it.
Day Six: Take a day off from riding and enjoy a vehicle tour of Tikal.
Day Seven: Enjoy a morning ride to Mayan ruins, have a picnic lunch, and then spend the evening enjoying the hotel amenities. Take an optional, guided night walk to see Belize in a whole new way.
Day Eight: Transfer back to Belize City.
